About KARS

Frank and Judy Konchar, owners and operators of Complete Automobile Repair/Reconditioning Services (KARS), have a deep-seated history of serving York County. β€œWe, as owners, have been servicing and providing service to York County residents for over 20 years in a variety of businesses,” says Frank. β€œWe’ve always provided quality family-oriented service to our customers, coupled with honesty and respect and we’re proud of that.” With this same philosophy, they founded KARS, a full-service automobile repair and service center located at 1985 Carlisle Road, in September 2007. The recently remodeled facility with a three-bay garage uses a blend of high tech machines and equipment and old school β€œknow-how” to serve its customers.

Great place. Tom keeps me informed about progreas and any issues found. Price is great and our car was finished ahead of schedule.

Phone call answered pleasantly and timely. Service requested was able to be accommodated quickly. Great communication and easy to use software via text/email. Knowledgeable communication about services needed without being pushy and reasonable prices. Very happy with my first visit and will use again! Tomβ€” your awesome!

I thought a while about making this review, I wasn’t going to post it but when you are disrespectful, you should be called out on it. My sister had her vehicle diagnosed for a no-start after the car had sat for many years, she was a cancer survivor getting back on her feet so the car was neglected. The shop was professional in letting her know that the car is not worth getting to running condition. It would be a waste of money. I agree with them and I’m not doubting their mechanical abilities. They had told my sister that they wouldn’t charge her anything for the diagnostic because of the somber nature of the vehicle being unworthy of a fix. Unfortunately my sister passed away before being able to retrieve her vehicle. I came down from Ontario, Canada to visit my mother and helped clean up some unfinished business left behind. I spoke with Tom at the front desk about how to navigate the sticky situation. Tom was understanding of the situation but said he unfortunately doesn’t make the call, and I would need to pay for the diagnostic. Paying for the diagnostic was not about money, but asking for money from someone who has passed is absolutely disgusting. I’ve worked in the

I have to say, this shop was fantastic. Tom got me in promptly and let me know exactly what my husband's truck needed. I'm glad I switched garages. The process was so easy from drop off to pick up. I like the fact there was even a code to get my keys after hours. No more worrying that my keys are left in my truck unattended. Thank you to Kars for making this easy for me. I definitely will be back!

My car tire was low and I called Tom at Kars and he was so helpful and right .He told me to come to the shop so they could look at my tire and he would be sure I would have a ride home. Good thing I did as my tire the next morning was flat. His staff fixed it and looked at my rear brakes and said they were ok. He also called to tell me my wiper blades were bad (5years old) so put new ones on. He is the guy I call and trust when I am worried about my car β€˜s health. You can trust their advice like you would your father and I was picked up again by a worker to get my car. I have a peace of mind now being able to call him when I don’t know what to do. They are the very best car repair place that I have ever used and I highly recommend them. Give Tom a call like you would your dad if you have car questions. Plus they are not expensive like the dealers.
